Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Sift flour into a bowl, add baking powder, sugar, and mix.
Step 2:
Pour 150 grams of yogurt, 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and a tablespoon of vanilla sugar into a clean bowl. Stir.
Step 3:
Pour the yogurt mixture into the flour and stir.
Step 4:
Grease a round baking pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle with flour.
Step 5:
Place the dough into the pan, smooth it out and sprinkle sugar on top.
Step 6:
Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Cooking tips
Vary the baking time depending on the characteristics of your oven; you may have to bake the sponge cake longer.
It’s better to use thicker yogurt, otherwise the dough may turn out too runny.
