Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the lemon and orange in half and squeeze the juice from the whole orange and half a lemon.
Step 2:
Cut the remaining peel into pieces and place in a glass jar.
Step 3:
Add mint sprigs to the jar, pour boiling water over everything so that the water covers the fruit, press down lightly with a wooden spoon and leave for 30-40 minutes.
Step 4:
Pour the infused liquid into a jug.
Step 5:
Add juice, ice and clean water.
Cooking tips
Before squeezing the juice, wash the fruit well with a brush and scald with boiling water.
It is best to place the mint in the jar between two layers of peel.
If you want your lemonade to be carbonated, add sparkling water instead of regular water.
