Asian-style meatballs with noodles

These small, yet incredibly flavorful and juicy meatballs are easy to eat with chopsticks. The special sauce gives them such a rich flavor that they're perfect as a side dish with the most common instant noodles you can find in any grocery store. Despite their somewhat exotic appearance, this Asian dish is quite easy to prepare.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
In a bowl, combine the minced meat, egg, salt, black pepper, ground garlic, breadcrumbs, 2 chopped green onions and mix everything thoroughly.
Step 2:
Form small balls.
Step 3:
Heat a frying pan, add vegetable oil and fry the meatballs for 4 minutes over medium heat, turning the meatballs over to create a crust.
Step 4:
Transfer meatballs to a bowl.
Step 5:
Add sesame oil, grated ginger, chili flakes, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and rice vinegar to the pan. Stir and bring to a boil.
Step 6:
Place the meatballs in the sauce, cover and simmer over low heat for 8 minutes.
Step 7:
Pour boiling water over instant noodles and cook for the time indicated on the noodle package, without adding any seasonings.
Step 8:
Drain the noodles and add them to the pan, stir and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
