Step-by-step recipe

Step 1:

Shrimp Paella - Step 1 Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan.

Shrimp Paella - Step 2 Remove the shrimp from their shells and set the shells aside in a bowl.

Shrimp Paella - Step 3 Place the shells in the pan and fry for 4 minutes.

Cooking tips

Do not rinse the rice before adding it; the starch will be beneficial for the dish, as it will bind it together.

When choosing rice, avoid long-grain or parboiled rice – they do not absorb water well.
