Brownie with whipped cream and chocolate

Chocolate brownie cake was invented in the late 19th century in a Chicago hotel kitchen and has since gained immense popularity. It's prepared both as a standalone confection and as a base for a wide variety of culinary experiments. We suggest making a delicious dessert using chocolate brownie pieces topped with whipped cream.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Place 100 grams of diced butter and 100 grams of dark chocolate chips in a bowl.
Step 2:
Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler or microwave for 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
Step 3:
Place 120 grams of flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a sieve and sift them into the bowl with the melted ingredients.
Step 4:
Add sugar and 125 ml of warm milk and mix thoroughly with a whisk.
Step 5:
Line the bottom of a baking pan with paper, pour the chocolate batter into it and smooth it out with a spatula.
Step 6:
Place a metal trivet in a deep roasting pan or wok, cover the pan with a lid and heat over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
Step 7:
Place the pan with the dough in the wok and bake on low heat under the lid for about 22 minutes, then remove and let cool.
Step 8:
In a bowl, pour 150 ml of heavy cream, 25 grams of powdered sugar, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and beat with a whisk until soft peaks form.
Step 9:
Turn the pan over, place the baked brownie crust on a board, remove the paper and cut the crust into circles with a small metal template.
Step 10:
Place brownie mugs in a glass and top with whipped cream.
Step 11:
Melt 100 grams of dark chocolate in 60 milliliters of hot milk and pour it over the dessert, then sprinkle with crumbs from the remaining cake layer.
Cooking tips
Instead of baking brownies in a wok, you can bake them in the usual way in the oven at 170 degrees for the same amount of time.
For whipping, you should use cream with 33-35% fat content.
You can cool the dessert slightly before serving.
