Classic mulled wine
Origin of the recipe
Mixing red wine with spices was a favorite pastime in Ancient Rome, but it was the cold winters of Northern and Central Europe that gave rise to this hot, spicy drink, a perfect warming drink for cold weather and a festive touch at Christmas, New Year's, and any party.
