  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

  • Scissors
  • Bowls

All you need for this literally five-minute dish is to gather the ingredients; tortillas are easily purchased at the store. Then, all it takes is a little sleight of hand, and golden-brown tortillas with delicious fillings are ready to be served on your plate!

Step-by-step recipe

Step 1:

Fold the tortilla in quarters and cut down the middle with scissors.

Step 2:

Remove the flesh of half a ripe avocado, place it in a bowl, mash, sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

Step 3:

Spread mashed avocado on the quarter of the tortilla next to the cut on the right.

Step 4:

Move down and spread the next quarter with thick mayonnaise.

Step 5:

Place two tomato slices on the next quarter.

Step 6:

Sprinkle the last quarter with grated mozzarella.

Step 7:

Fold the quarters of the flatbread over each other one after another.

Step 8:

Prepare the second tortilla as above.

Step 9:

Spread the first quarter of the tortilla with tomato sauce.

Step 10:

Place 10 grams of spinach leaves on the second quarter.

Step 11:

Place 40 grams of bacon crumbles on the third quarter.

Step 12:

Place 30 grams of grated mozzarella on the fourth part.

Step 13:

Fold the flatbread the same way as the first one.

Step 14:

Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the tortillas and brush the tops with oil.

Step 15:

When the flatbreads are golden brown on the bottom, turn them over, fry until golden brown and serve.

Cooking tips

Tortilla fillings can be adjusted to suit your taste—the key is the principle. One quarter of the tortilla should have some kind of sauce, and the other quarter should have grated cheese.

Don't overdo it with the amount of filling, otherwise you simply won't be able to fold the flatbread or the filling will spill out.
