Meringue with chocolate and nuts
Origin of the recipe
Meringue means "kiss" in French, and indeed, this baked meringue treat, first invented in the 17th century, is incredibly delicate and airy. With a little know-how, making meringue is quite simple, although the meringue dough is quite finicky. Baking the cookies as directed in the recipe, in two batches, will result in a softer result.

Cooking tips
Instead of granulated sugar, you can use powdered sugar; this option is even better because the cookies will turn out fluffier.
After adding the chocolate and nuts, mix them thoroughly into the protein mixture so that they do not accumulate in one place.
When placing portions of dough on a baking sheet, leave enough space between them to prevent them from sticking together during baking. Don't open the oven door during baking, otherwise the meringues will collapse and turn into unappetizing flat cakes.
