Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan. Cut the onion into half rings and add to the pan. Fry the onion for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
Step 2:
Crush the garlic and add it to the onion.
Step 3:
Add salt, black pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano, and chili flakes to the onions and stir. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat.
Step 4:
Add wheat flour to the onion and stir. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat.
Step 5:
Add mustard and tomato paste to the pan and stir. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat.
Step 6:
Pour apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, add sugar and water into the pan.
Step 7:
Stir and bring to a boil. Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes over low heat.
Step 8:
Place two layers of foil on a baking sheet, then two layers of parchment paper on top of the foil. Leave excess on the sides for folding.
Step 9:
Place the pork ribs on the paper in three layers and remove the white film.
Step 10:
Coat the ribs with sauce on one side and turn them over. Coat the center row of ribs with sauce. Cover the center row with the side ribs, completely covering the sauce.
Step 11:
Coat the ribs generously with sauce.
Step 12:
Wrap the ribs tightly in paper and wrap them in foil over the paper.
Step 13:
Bake for 90 minutes at 170 degrees.
Step 14:
Uncover the dish, spread the ribs apart and pour the sauce over them.
Step 15:
Place in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Cooking tips
Choose ribs that are chilled, not frozen. Grilled ribs are especially good, as they tend to have a lot of meat.
Choose longer ribs for a more attractive appearance and easier cooking. Don't forget to remove the film, otherwise it will spoil the flavor and stick to your teeth.
