Many prefer this method to frying – it's a healthier dish. Try oven-baked chicken legs with breadcrumbs and yogurt – this chicken will definitely not dry out!
Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Season the chicken legs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 2:
Sprinkle the legs with sweet paprika, season with pepper again and rub the seasonings thoroughly into the skin and meat.
Step 3:
Pour a glass of Greek yogurt into a bowl.
Step 4:
Finely chop a bunch of dill and add to the yogurt. Stir.
Step 5:
Add a teaspoon of lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6:
Place breadcrumbs in a clean bowl.
Step 7:
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
Step 8:
Cut 6 pieces of butter, 0.5 cm thick or slightly thicker.
Step 9:
Roll the legs thoroughly in yogurt and then in breadcrumbs.
Step 10:
Place the legs on a baking sheet and place a piece of butter on each one.
Step 11:
Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
Step 12:
Serve with your favorite sauce.
Cooking tips
It is better to use the smallest breadcrumbs.
If you want the drumsticks to be spicier, add chili flakes to the breadcrumbs.
