If you're new to the kitchen but want to delight your guests with homemade holiday baked goods, this recipe is perfect for you. Every home cook knows how to bake pancakes! A stack of golden-brown pancakes, smeared with a delicate cream, will rival store-bought cakes!

Step-by-step recipe

Step 1:

Mix eggs, sugar and salt in a bowl.

Step 2:

Sift the flour into the same bowl, add a third of the warm milk and mix with a whisk or mixer.

Step 3:

While continuing to stir, pour in the remaining milk and melted butter.

Step 4:

Fry the pancakes in a hot frying pan and let them cool completely.

Step 5:

Combine heavy whipping cream with boiled condensed milk and beat with a mixer until fluffy and thick.

Step 6:

Place the cream in a pastry bag.

Step 7:

Spread the cream on the first pancake in a tight spiral and then alternate pancakes with cream.

Step 8:

Leave the cake in the refrigerator overnight to allow it to soak well.

Cooking tips

For the first pancake, you can lightly grease the frying pan with vegetable oil, but you won’t need it later.

To prevent the cake from sliding on the plate or base, add a little cream and then start laying out the pancakes.

You can decorate the cake with fresh berries, attaching them with melted white chocolate.
