Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the black bread into narrow pieces.
Step 2:
Combine vegetable oil, garlic, salt, and herbes de Provence and blend with an immersion blender.
Step 3:
Place the bread in a bowl, pour in the seasoned oil and mix gently with your hand.
Step 4:
Line a baking sheet with paper and spread the bread on it.
Step 5:
Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
Step 6:
Place hot croutons in a bowl and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Cooking tips
It is better to roll the bread in butter and seasonings using a gloved hand.
Do not overcook the croutons in the oven to prevent them from burning.
