Apple jam
Origin of the recipe
Apple jam is a little bit of summer sunshine in a jar. But if you're not planning on storing it in large quantities for the winter, simply make a small batch for tea. You won't need your grandmother's copper basin or much effort; you can cook the jam simply in a deep frying pan.

You can test the jam's readiness by pouring a small amount onto a plate. The consistency should be thick, hold its shape, and not drip when the plate is tilted.
