Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Take 10 crab sticks and carefully cut them into small pieces. Place the chopped crab sticks in a large bowl.
Step 2:
Take one small bell pepper. Remove the stem and seeds, then cut into strips or small cubes. Add the pepper to the crab sticks in a bowl.
Step 3:
Take one large tomato. Remove the stem and cut into small cubes. Add the tomatoes to the bowl with the remaining ingredients.
Step 4:
Grate 150 g of hard cheese using a coarse grater. Add the shredded cheese to a bowl. This will add tenderness and rich flavor to the salad.
Step 5:
Season the bowl with salt and pepper to taste. Use freshly ground red pepper for a brighter flavor. For the dressing, use 3-4 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Press 2-3 cloves of garlic through a garlic press and add to the mayonnaise. Mix well.
Step 6:
Pour the dressing into the bowl with the vegetables and crab sticks. Gently stir all the ingredients with a spoon to avoid crushing the ingredients.
Step 7:
Taste the salad and add a little more salt, pepper, or mayonnaise if needed. This recipe is easily adapted to your preferences. Before serving, carefully transfer the finished dish to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh herbs. Done! Enjoy this simple and delicious dish.
Cooking tips
For a richer flavor, use red bell peppers—they are the sweetest and most aromatic.
To keep the peppers and crab sticks from losing their shape, avoid chopping them too finely. 1-1.5 cm cubes are ideal.
If you want to make the salad less caloric, you can make your own mayonnaise.
Don't grate the cheese too finely - this will give the dish a more interesting texture.
Serve the salad immediately after preparation or keep it in the refrigerator for no more than 2 hours to prevent the tomatoes from releasing juice and the dish from becoming runny.
