Kimbap Rolls
Origin of the recipe
Korean gimbap rolls, although descended from the famous Japanese dish, do not contain raw seafood. In addition to rice, their fillings typically include strips of marinated and fresh vegetables, cooked meat or fish, and even omelette. The filling is always complex and colorful, and the combination creates a delicious and harmonious combination.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the cucumber into large strips, place in a bowl, sprinkle with a teaspoon of salt and mix.
Step 2:
Cut the carrots into long strips.
Step 3:
Break the eggs into a bowl, add half a teaspoon of salt and beat lightly with a whisk.
Step 4:
Drain the liquid from the package of pickled radishes and cut them into long strips.
Step 5:
Cut the crab sticks lengthwise.
Step 6:
Cut smoked ham or sausages into strips.
Step 7:
Squeeze out excess water from the cucumbers.
Step 8:
Lightly fry the ham or sausages in a frying pan.
Step 9:
Pour a little oil into the frying pan, put in the carrots, add a pinch of salt and fry, stirring, for about a minute and put in a bowl.
Step 10:
Pour the egg mixture into a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil and fry it like a pancake on both sides.
Step 11:
Then cut the omelette into long strips.
Step 12:
Cook the rice in a slow cooker, add salt to taste, drizzle with sesame oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Mix thoroughly.
Step 13:
Place a sheet of seaweed on a rolling mat. Spread the rice in an even layer, leaving a strip of seaweed free.
Step 14:
Place strips of all types of ingredients in the center of the rice.
Step 15:
Start rolling the roll using the mat towards the free edge, wet the free edge with water, move the roll to the edge of the mat and roll it completely.
Step 16:
Roll up all the rolls, brush them with sesame oil, cut them as usual, garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
Cooking tips
The filling of the rolls can vary as desired, but it is better if the ingredients are multi-colored.
Korean pickled radish is sold in packages in Asian grocery stores.
Any kind of sausage will do for these rolls. If you don't eat meat, you can skip it.
