Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the mushrooms and tomatoes in half.
Step 2:
Place the pan over low heat and add the bacon, frying for 1 minute.
Step 3:
Flip the bacon and cook for another minute. Don't let it dry out completely. Remove the bacon from the pan.
Step 4:
Place the toasts in the pan and fry for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 5:
Remove the toasts and add the sausages, pressing them down to ensure better contact with the ribbed surface of the pan. Fry for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 6:
Remove the sausages and brush the pan with olive oil. Place the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, cut side down, in the pan. Fry for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
Step 7:
Prepare the sauce. Place a saucepan over high heat, add peeled tomatoes (canned in their own juice) and their juice, then add sugar, salt, garlic, celery, and hot sauce. Stir.
Step 8:
Simmer the sauce over low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 9:
Add the beans to the sauce and stir. Cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 10:
Place a frying pan on the stove and grease it with olive oil. Crack two eggs into the pan, leaving the yolks whole. Season with salt and pepper and cook the eggs for 2 minutes over medium-low heat.
Cooking tips
Spread the toasts with jam. Serve with juice or tea, arranging the ingredients in groups on a large plate (you can use a special sectional dish called a "divided bowl").
To prepare an English breakfast, it is preferable to use sausages in natural casings, preferably made from coarse minced meat.
You can cook toasts in a toaster instead of a frying pan.
