Finely chop the cabbage

Finely chop the onion and fry in butter until golden brown.

Place the cabbage in a colander, cool slightly and squeeze out the excess water.
Step 5:
Place the squeezed cabbage in a bowl, add the fried onion, salt, semolina, two eggs, and season to taste. Mix the minced meat thoroughly and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 6:
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Form patties, transferring them from hand to hand.
Step 7:
Fry until golden brown, turn over and fry over medium heat under a lid until done.
Cooking tips
Old cabbage should be boiled longer.
If the minced meat turns out to be too runny, add a little more semolina.
