Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the crab sticks into cubes and place in a salad bowl.
Step 2:
Cut four hard-boiled eggs into approximately the same size cubes and add them to the salad bowl with the crab sticks.
Step 3:
Chop the marinated mushrooms a little (in our recipe we cut them into cubes).
NOTE: For this salad, we used a jar of pre-sliced marinated mushrooms. They need to be chopped slightly – our recipe requires that all ingredients be roughly the same size.
Step 4:
We put the champignons in a salad bowl with the crab sticks and eggs.
Step 5:
It's time for green peas - pour them into a salad bowl.
NOTE: Don't forget to drain the water from the can of green peas so that the crab stick salad doesn't turn out too watery.
Step 6:
We salt our salad to taste, season it with mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly.
NOTE: If desired, you can use spices in the recipe; for example, add a little ground pepper to the crab stick salad. This ingredient will add a spicy kick to the salad.
Step 7:
In just a few minutes, our delicious holiday crab stick salad is ready. Serve and enjoy its wonderful, vibrant, and unique flavor.
Cooking tips
Serve the salads chilled. After tossing, let the salad sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the dressing to infuse into the ingredients.
Don't use too much mayonnaise. Add it gradually so the crab stick salad is moist but not "swimming" in the dressing.
If you want to add a fresh twist to this recipe, you can substitute some of the canned peas with fresh or frozen green peas, blanched first.
Adding finely chopped dill, parsley, or green onions will add a brighter, fresher flavor to our salad. It's a great way to elevate any classic recipe.
To serve this recipe, use a culinary ring to shape the salad. Garnish with a sprig of parsley or a few whole peas.
