Flatbreads with vegetables and herbs
Origin of the recipe
Flatbreads are likely as old as field agriculture. They were the first bread humans learned to make, the most natural and simple form of preparation. It's impossible to pinpoint the origin of flatbreads—almost every country in the world has its own version: pita and lavash, Mexican tortillas, Dagestani chudu, Indian naan and chapati… And our version is international.

Cooking tips
The batter should be thicker than for pancakes.
The ingredients for the filling should be cut as thinly and finely as possible.
Fry the flatbreads in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil over moderate heat (between high and medium).
Before each flatbread, grease the pan with vegetable oil.
There are many filling options for flatbreads – grated cheese, mushrooms fried with finely chopped onions, sliced olives and mozzarella plus basil, leftover chicken from lunch with Korean carrots and curry seasoning, or just lots of different greens – everything will be delicious!
