Okroshka with whey, sausage, and radish
Origin of the recipe
Some consider the whey left over from making homemade cottage cheese a waste product that should just be thrown away. In fact, it's very healthy, containing numerous vitamins and minerals. Okroshka made with whey, sausage, and radish is no less delicious than regular okroshka; it's tender, low in calories, and perfectly nutritious.

Cooking tips
It’s better to take several types of herbs to suit your taste – for example, green onions, dill and parsley.
You can use only sour cream or only mayonnaise – whichever you prefer.
Before serving, it is better to cool the okroshka or keep the whey in the refrigerator first.
