Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut a circle with a diameter of 22 cm from the puff pastry.
Step 2:
Prick the dough circle with a fork, brush it with water and sprinkle with sugar.
Step 3:
Cut a circle with a diameter of 20 cm from another sheet of dough, cut it into 12 segments, grease with water and sprinkle with sugar.
Step 4:
Bake both parts of the dough in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Step 5:
In a saucepan, cover the berries with cornstarch, sugar and drizzle with the juice of half a lemon.
Step 6:
Place the saucepan with berries on the fire, stir, bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 minutes, stirring.
Step 7:
Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and beat lightly with a mixer.
Step 8:
Add powdered sugar and beat until soft peaks form.
Step 9:
Add Greek yogurt, beat until stiff peaks form and fold in with a spatula.
Step 10:
Place the bottom layer in a springform pan, cover with half of the whipped cream and smooth out.
Step 11:
Place half of the berry mixture on top, cover with the remaining cream and smooth out.
Step 12:
Spread the remaining berries in an even layer.
Step 13:
Place the puff pastry triangles on top, put some jam in the middle and put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Step 14:
Remove the pan and decorate the sides of the cake with puff pastry crumbs.
Step 15:
Dust the cake with powdered sugar and serve.
Cooking tips
Bake the cake base together with the extra dough, which will later be used as crumble topping for the sides.
Be careful not to burn the berries, don't turn the heat up too high and don't forget to stir.
