No-Bake Strawberry Cake

This cold dessert cake with fresh strawberries, made without an oven, will delight you on a hot summer day or just when you don't feel like messing with dough. Plus, it perfectly preserves all the vitamins and flavor of the fresh berries.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Place the biscuits in a plastic bag and crush them into crumbs with a rolling pin.
Step 2:
Place the crumbs in a bowl, pour in the melted butter and stir with a spoon.
Step 3:
Place the sponge mixture in the bottom of a round pan with a plastic insert and press it into the bottom with a hand press.
Step 4:
Place the mold in the refrigerator.
Step 5:
Place the cottage cheese in a clean bowl and mix with a mixer.
Step 6:
Pour in the condensed milk and mix again with a mixer.
Step 7:
Pour heavy cream into a clean bowl and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
Step 8:
Pour the whipped cream into the curd mixture and mix with a mixer.
Step 9:
Cut the strawberries into small cubes and mix into the curd-cream mixture.
Step 10:
Place the mixture into the mold on top of the biscuit layer, smooth it out with a spatula and put it in the refrigerator.
Step 11:
Slice the strawberries flat and arrange them in concentric circles over the top of the cake.
Step 12:
Place the cake in the refrigerator.
Step 13:
Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and agar-agar. Stir with a whisk.
Step 14:
Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring with a whisk.
Step 15:
Let cool for 15 minutes, stirring.
Step 16:
Pour jelly over the top of the cake and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Cooking tips
Take a cake pan with a diameter of 18 cm.
A strip of flexible plastic should be inserted into the mold to build up the sides and prevent the jelly from leaking out.
