Curd Cake – this dessert recipe with light curd cream and a delicate sponge cake is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and doesn't require any special skills. Make it and surprise your guests!
Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Separate the egg whites into a deep bowl and beat with a mixer. Set the yolks aside.
Step 2:
Add sugar in two portions, continuing to beat.
Step 3:
Pour in the yolks and stir with a spatula.
Step 4:
In two portions, stirring with a spatula, sift the flour and baking powder mixture into the mixture.
Step 5:
Pour in vegetable oil and stir.
Step 6:
Pour the prepared dough into a ring with a foil bottom on a baking sheet lined with paper and bake at 170 degrees for 35 minutes.
Step 7:
Using a knife along the edge, remove the mold.
Step 8:
Place the cottage cheese in a deep bowl and beat with a mixer.
Step 9:
Pour in condensed milk and mix with a mixer.
Step 10:
Pour in the heavy cream and beat thoroughly with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
Step 11:
Divide the sponge cake into three layers.
Step 12:
Place the first cake layer on a plate in a ring and soak it with condensed milk diluted in water.
Step 13:
Generously grease the cake layer with cream, cover with the next cake layer and repeat the process.
Step 14:
Place the last cake layer and cover the sides and top of the cake with cream.
Step 15:
Sprinkle the top of the cake with coconut flakes and garnish as desired. You can decorate the cake further if desired. 
Cooking tips
The flour must be sifted to avoid lumps and to make the cake fluffier.
If you are going to decorate the cake with cream flowers, set aside the required amount in advance.
