Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and form balls out of it.
Step 2:
Grind cornflakes in a blender.
Step 3:
Stir the eggs in a bowl.
Step 4:
Dredge each ball in flour, dip in egg and roll in crushed oats.
Step 5:
Heat a large amount of vegetable oil in a saucepan and fry the balls until golden brown.
Step 6:
Place the fried balls on paper towels.
Cooking tips
It is better to roll the balls in the egg and cereal using a fork rather than your hands, so as not to get dirty and not wipe off the breading.
Do not overcook the balls and after frying, let the excess oil drain well.
