Quick pizza in the oven
Origin of the recipe
The recipe for quick pizza in the oven, like pizza itself, has an interesting history. Pizza as a dish originated in Italy, and its roots go back to ancient times, when various toppings were spread on flatbread. The modern version of pizza emerged in Naples in the 18th century, when tomatoes brought from the New World began to be used. As for quick pizza, such recipes began to appear in the 20th century, when home cooking became more accessible thanks to new technologies and ingredients. Quick pizza typically uses a ready-made dough or base, which significantly reduces preparation time. This can be pita bread, ready-made puff pastry, or even bread.

Cooking tips
When choosing cheese, avoid brine-cured or specialty varieties. Use any regular cheese you like.
This homemade pizza has no strict recipe restrictions, experiment as you like.
Instead of ketchup, it's better to use tomato paste mixed with spices, but ketchup will also work for a homemade version of pizza. Just avoid using ketchup that's too spicy or sour, otherwise it will overpower the pizza and steal all the flavor.
