Classic Olivier salad with sausage
Origin of the recipe
There's probably no home where Olivier salad hasn't been made. Despite its French name, it's a truly native appetizer. Different families prepare Olivier salad differently—with sausage or meat, with or without carrots (though experts would say it's not really Olivier at all). Some add onions, while others even add apples. But the classic Olivier salad with sausage, preferably Doctor's sausage, is undoubtedly unrivaled!
