Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Start by preparing the onion. Peel one onion and slice it into thin half rings. Place the onion on the bottom of a serving plate.
Step 2:
Take three fresh tomatoes. Cut them into small pieces and arrange them on top of the onions. This recipe requires ripe, juicy tomatoes for the best flavor.
Step 3:
Season the tomato layer with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix the tomatoes and onions with a fork.
Step 4:
Boil three eggs until hard-boiled. Cool them under cold water, peel them, and cut into small wedges. Place the eggs on top of the tomatoes. This will add extra nutrition to your salad.
Step 5:
Take 200 g of crab sticks. Cut them into small cubes. Add the crab sticks to the plate on top of the eggs.
Step 6:
Grate 100 g of hard cheese on a fine grater. Sprinkle the cheese over the crab sticks. The cheese will add tenderness and rich flavor to the dish.
Step 7:
Finely chop the dill and parsley. Sprinkle the salad with the herbs.
Step 8:
Drizzle the finished crab salad with two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Use a high-quality oil for the best flavor. This will replace mayonnaise and make the dish healthier.
Step 9:
Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes. This will give the flavors time to meld and the crab sticks a little oil. This recipe is easy to make and requires little effort.
Cooking tips
To prevent the crab salad from becoming too runny, use only ripe, not too juicy tomatoes. If they're very juicy, you can squeeze them lightly before adding them to the salad.
For a richer flavor, use a high-quality hard cheese. You can also use blue cheese or cream cheese if you prefer a more delicate texture.
For those who like to experiment, try adding a little crushed garlic to the salad. This will add even more interest to the dish.
Serve the crab salad cold. This will preserve all the textures and rich flavor.
