Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the onion into half rings.
Step 2:
Transfer the onion to a small bowl.
Step 3:
Add water and vinegar to the onion.

Add sugar and salt to the bowl and leave for 20 minutes.

Boil the eggs in a saucepan.
Step 6:
Let the eggs cool and grate on a coarse grater.
Step 7:
Finely chop the apple.
Step 8:
Peel the orange.
Step 9:
Separate the orange into segments and remove the white membrane. Cut the peeled segments into pieces.
Step 10:
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, mustard and the juice of half a lemon.
Step 11:
In a large bowl, combine onion, eggs, apple, orange and sauce.
Step 12:
Place the salad in a nice serving bowl.
Step 13:
Using a fine grater, grate the Parmesan cheese over the salad.

Garnish the salad with orange slices and enjoy!
Cooking tips
When buying apples, choose fresh and firm ones. Avoid sweet varieties, as they're not suitable for this salad.
It's best to let eggs cool in cold or ice water. To make peeling easier, prick the shells slightly before placing them in the water.
