Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Finely chop the crab sticks.
Step 2:
Cut the cheese into very small pieces.
Step 3:
Chop the cucumber very finely.
Step 4:
Boil the eggs (10-15 minutes).
Step 5:
Peel and finely chop the eggs.
Step 6:
Finely chop the Korean carrots.
Step 7:
Place all chopped ingredients in a bowl.
Step 8:
Crush the garlic in a press or chop it very finely.
Step 9:
Add garlic, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise to the bowl. Stir.
Cooking tips
Crab sticks should have bright white flesh without a yellowish or grayish tint.
Frozen crab sticks should be defrosted slowly – at room temperature, or better yet, in the refrigerator.
Use semi-hard cheese in the salad; hard cheeses will either have too strong a flavor or be too tough. If you choose a salty cheese, reduce the amount of salt accordingly.
