Okroshka with water, mayonnaise and citric acid
Origin of the recipe
If you're not too concerned about your figure, love Olivier salad, and aren't fond of kvass and fermented milk products, then okroshka with water, mayonnaise, and citric acid is definitely your choice! This cold summer soup will both refresh you in the heat and fill you up. Okroshka with water, mayonnaise, and citric acid became popular during the Soviet era, when mayonnaise became affordable and widely used. The use of mayonnaise gives the dish a creamy texture and rich flavor, while the citric acid adds a needed tartness.

Add citric acid little by little; if you feel there isn't enough sourness, you can add a little at the end.
