Simple Hot Sauce Kochi Tirime

Little is known about this sauce; it may be a simplified version of the Korean kankochi sauce, adapted in Russia. Its simplicity and versatility appeal to those new to Korean cuisine. When you don't have time to fuss with it too much but want something spicy, Kochi Terime is a great addition to almost any dish.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Coarsely chop the onion. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the chopped onion, and stir.
Step 2:
Fry the onion for about 1 minute, then add the garlic.
Step 3:
Stir constantly until the onion and garlic are golden brown, almost brown.
Step 4:
Remove the onion and garlic from the pan, leaving the oil in it.
Step 5:
Add the peppers to the hot oil and stir vigorously, removing the pan from the heat.
Step 6:
Once the pepper and oil are combined, pour the mixture into a jar or other storage container.
Cooking tips
Sometimes a little ground coriander is added while frying the peppers, but this is a matter of taste and preference.
Be very careful when adding the peppers to the oil if the oil was not removed from the heat after removing the onions. Once the peppers are in the pan, it's crucial to prevent them from clumping or sticking to the pan.
For added convenience, you can pour the oil directly into a deep container and mix the sauce there. The container should maintain a good temperature, as the oil will be very hot.
