Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Boil the eggs and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a mortar and pour in olive oil.
Step 2:
Grind eggs with olive oil into a paste.
Step 3:
Mix mayonnaise and egg paste in a bowl.
Step 4:
Add finely chopped gherkins, capers, and Dijon mustard to the mixture. Mix the contents of the bowl.
Step 5:
Chop the herbs and add them to the sauce.
Step 6:
Finely chop the whites of the boiled eggs and stir into the sauce.
Step 7:
Place in the refrigerator to cool.
Cooking tips
You can choose any greens to suit your taste – parsley, tarragon, dill or any other.
The sauce should be cooled and stirred before serving.
