Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Pour warm water into a bowl.
Step 2:
Add sugar and stir with a whisk.

Add dry yeast, stir and leave for 15 minutes.

Pour in warm water, add flour, salt and knead the dough.

Grease the dough with vegetable oil, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 2 hours.

Place the ground meat in a clean bowl, season with salt to taste, add cumin, chopped green onions, and pepper. Mix well.
Step 7:
Dust the surface and dough with flour and roll out.
Step 8:
Close the filling by gathering the dough towards the center and pinching.
Step 9:
Flatten the pie on both sides, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and make a hole in the top crust.
Step 10:
Bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
Step 11:
Grease the pie with butter.
Cooking tips
It's better to use mixed minced meat for the pie, as this will make the filling juicier, but you shouldn't choose something too fatty.
The hole in the top crust of the pie is necessary for steam to escape.
