Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Place flour, sugar, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
Step 2:
Sift the baking powder through a sieve and mix everything with a whisk.
Step 3:
Add 2 eggs and milk. Mix well with a whisk.
Step 4:
Add vegetable oil and stir.
Step 5:
Pour the chocolate batter into the muffin tin.
Step 6:
Using a pastry bag, pipe apricot jam on top in a spiral pattern.
Step 7:
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
Cooking tips
You can also sift the flour through a sieve beforehand - this will ensure there are no lumps in it and it will have a more uniform moisture content.
A 23cm diameter pan works best for this pie.
Instead of apricot jam, you can use any other jam of your choice.
