No-bake cottage cheese cake
Origin of the recipe
Tiramisu is a famous Italian dessert that originated in the Veneto region in the 1960s. The no-bake version of tiramisu gained popularity due to a desire to make the dessert more accessible. Thus, no-bake tiramisu represents a modern adaptation of the classic Italian dessert, preserving its core flavors while making it more accessible to a wider audience.

Perfect for any holiday table! And kids love it even more than classic tiramisu :)
Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Take cottage cheese and add sour cream and sugar.
Step 2:
Mix with a hand blender until smooth.
Step 3:
Mix cocoa and hot water.
Step 4:
Place the melted cookies on the pan and moisten with water and cocoa.
Step 5:
Add some of the filling and spread evenly over the cookies.
Step 6:
Add another layer of cookies and frost it.
Step 7:
Repeat layers until you run out of cookies.
Step 8:
Add the filling on top.
Step 9:
Take a bar of chocolate and crumble it.
Step 10:
Pour milk over the chocolate.
Step 11:
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler (boil water and place the container with the chocolate over the steam. This will ensure the chocolate melts evenly and safely).
Step 12:
Cover the cake with chocolate while it's still wet. Spread it evenly until the chocolate is gone. Be careful not to pour all the chocolate into one spot to avoid squashing the filling.
Step 13:
Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Step 14:
Cut into portions and serve.
Cooking tips
You can add crushed walnuts or coarsely grated chocolate to the filling.
If you add chopped multi-colored marmalade to the filling when assembling the cake, after cutting it you will get a colorful version of the dessert popularly known as “broken glass.”
If you don't eat chocolate, you can make the top layer from the leftover filling and decorate it with juicy fruits and berries - grapes cut in half, strawberries, etc.
A summer version of lazy cake – with ready-made waffles and ice cream filling. Store it in the freezer.
