Cooking tips
Stale loaf of bread will work for this recipe, but white bread is not as crumbly.
Be careful not to overcook the pancakes; they should just be golden brown.
A more filling, quick breakfast can be made from stale bread by mixing the bread with an egg, milk, and finely grated Parmesan cheese. Divide the mixture into two layers, and place ham, sliced cheese, and cherry tomato slices in a frying pan between the two layers. Fry on both sides.
