Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Pour 50 ml of milk over 100 grams of fresh blueberries and mix with a hand blender.
Step 2:
Place the resulting mixture in a bowl, add sugar, half a teaspoon of instant yeast, and mix.
Step 3:
Add a tablespoon of melted butter. Stir.
Step 4:
Add 160 grams of flour and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Mix the dough thoroughly, cover, and let it double in size.
Step 5:
Grease a baking dish with butter.
Step 6:
Knead the dough again to release air bubbles.
Step 7:
Dust a board with flour, form the dough into a round flatbread and divide it into 9 pieces.
Step 8:
Form into balls, place in a mold, cover with a towel and let rise again.
Step 9:
Sift a little flour over the balls. Cut a cross in the top of the buns with scissors, open the resulting petals, and insert a large blueberry into each.
Step 10:
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 175 degrees.
Cooking tips
For buns, it is better to use large, select blueberries, for example, garden varieties.
The same buns can be baked with other wild and garden berries, such as strawberries.
