Pea porridge with bacon
Origin of the recipe
Peas and porridge are a rather unusual combination; pea soup, specifically with smoked meats, is a much more common dish. But in fact, porridge made from boiled peas has long been a staple of Russian, as well as English, cuisine. This porridge can be served as a side dish or as a standalone dish. Try pea porridge with smoked bacon and aromatic spices.
