Cooking tips
Rinse buckwheat before cooking, especially if it has been stored for a long time.
Do not overcook the onion, otherwise it will taste bitter.
Great recipe.
A very tasty recipe, inexpensive and easy to prepare.
It's much simpler and healthier. The proportions are as follows: 1 cup cabbage, 1 cup rinsed buckwheat, 1 cup diced onion, 1 cup coarsely grated carrots. Place the ingredients in a cauldron in this order, along with 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 2 cups water. Do not stir. Reduce heat to low and cook for 40 minutes, then uncover and stir. You can add salt to taste, add butter, or, if you're serving sausage for your husband, a bouillon cube is a budget option!
