Step 1:
Place a thin round lavash in the air fryer basket. This will be the base for your lavash pizza in the oven.
Step 2:
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Set some aside for the bottom layer, and some for the top.

Sprinkle half the cheese evenly over the pita bread. This will ensure a moist texture on the finished pita pizza.
Step 4:
Spread the tomato sauce in a thin layer. Don't overdo it, or the lavash will become soggy in the oven.

Place sausage or pepperoni on top of the sauce. For a spicy kick, add a pinch of hot pepper.

Don't overuse tomato sauce - 2-3 tablespoons is enough.
