Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the tomatoes and onions into half rings and place them in a bowl.
Step 2:
Cut thin cucumbers into slices, thick ones into half-slices and add to the bowl.
Step 3:
Cut the bell pepper into strips and add to the other vegetables.
Step 4:
Finely chop the parsley and dill and add to the vegetables.
Step 5:
Add salt, sugar, vinegar, and vegetable oil. Mix well and let sit for an hour and a half.
Step 6:
Boil the lids and wash the jars thoroughly with baking soda.
Step 7:
Fill the jars, compact them, and pour in the liquid from the vegetables almost to the top.
Step 8:
Place the jars in a saucepan on a cloth, cover with lids, pour water up to the shoulders of the jars, put on the fire and sterilize for 20 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Step 9:
Roll up the jars, turn them over, wrap them up and let them cool completely.
Cooking tips
For this salad, use brown tomatoes – they are quite firm.
If you use bell peppers of different colors, the salad will turn out more beautiful.
