Cocktail Alexander
Origin of the recipe
The Alexander cocktail originated in the United States at the beginning of the last century. Initially, it was made with gin, with cream helping to mask the drink's harshness. Brandy gradually replaced gin, and this "disguise" came in handy during Prohibition—the cocktail's taste is difficult to distinguish from a non-alcoholic version, meaning bartenders could risk serving it openly. This smooth-tasting cocktail is suitable for both men and women.

Cooking tips
It is best to use fresh nutmeg and grate it on a fine grater, but since it is not easy to find, you can use already grated nutmeg.
It is not necessary to mix the ingredients for several minutes, but you need to wait until the cocktail becomes uniform, smooth and thick.
It's important to understand that the ice in the shaker will melt during the process, so it's best to use cold ingredients to prevent the cocktail from becoming too watery.
