Korean stuffed buns
Origin of the recipe
Anyone can make these buns, even those who've never worked with dough before. All you need are ready-made sweet buns, cream cheese, garlic, mayonnaise, and a few herbs. The simultaneously sweet and savory flavor and crispy glaze whet the appetite and lift the spirits.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Break the egg into a bowl and beat with a whisk.
Step 2:
Add sugar, pour in milk and stir.
Step 3:
Add melted butter, mayonnaise, crushed garlic, and dried parsley. Whisk until combined.
Step 4:
Take 4 sweet buns and make 3 deep crosswise cuts on each.
Step 5:
Place the cream cheese mixture in a clean bowl, add 30g of sugar and lemon juice. Mix with a spatula.
Step 6:
Fill a pastry bag with cream cheese.
Step 7:
Press cheese into buns along the slits.
Step 8:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dip the buns in the mixture on all sides and place them on the baking sheet.
Step 9:
Pipe cream cheese frosting into the center of each bun.
Step 10:
Bake for 15 minutes at 170 degrees.
Cooking tips
This recipe uses 10 cm diameter buns weighing 65 grams each. If your buns are smaller, bake them for 3-4 minutes less.
It is better to choose sweet buns for this recipe.
