You don't need to buy or bake tartlets for your appetizers; regular white toast bread works just fine. Surprise your guests with these delicious mushroom and cheese tartlets.
Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Finely chop the mushrooms and onion.
Step 2:
Lightly fry the mushrooms in a frying pan, then add the onion and fry together, stirring.
Step 3:
Season with salt and pepper to taste, add nutmeg, dried mushroom powder, and sour cream. Stir.
Step 4:
Carefully roll out the slices of toast bread so that you can cut out circles with a diameter of 10 cm. Make 12 circles.
Step 5:
Pinch the circles so they can fit into a muffin tin.
Step 6:
Bake for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 7:
Fill the resulting shaped baskets with mushroom filling.
Step 8:
Grate the cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle it over the contents of the baskets.
Step 9:
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place one in the center of each tartlet.
Step 10:
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 11:
Place the finished baskets on a plate and sprinkle with dill.
Cooking tips
There is no need to fry the mushrooms and onions too much; they will cook through in the oven.
Do not overcook the empty baskets in the oven to prevent them from burning and becoming brittle.
