Chicken cutlets are very tender and easy to prepare, perfect for both children and adults. Make these unique and delicious cutlets by combining ground chicken with shredded cabbage and mixing them with a homemade egg sauce.

Step-by-step recipe

Step 1:

Grate the cabbage on a coarse grater and place in a bowl.

Step 2:

Grate the carrots on a medium grater and add to the cabbage.

Step 3:

Grate the onion on a coarse grater and add to the vegetables.

Step 4:

Add minced chicken, sour cream, two eggs, salt and pepper, flour and mix.

Step 5:

Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan and spoon in the cutlet mixture.

Step 6:

Fry over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 7:

Mix the egg yolk and egg, add lemon juice, salt, vinegar, vegetable oil and mix everything with an immersion blender.

Step 8:

Pour the prepared mixture into a bowl.

Step 9:

Finely chop the basil and add to the bowl.

Step 10:

Crush two cloves of garlic into a bowl and stir.

Step 11:

Turn the cutlets over, cover with a lid and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 12:

Prepare another batch of cutlets.

Step 13:

Serve the cutlets with the sauce.

Cooking tips

You can buy ready-made minced chicken, but it’s better to grind the chicken yourself – with a sharp knife or a blender.

If you are concerned about the raw egg in the sauce, you can use another sauce to your taste.
