Origin of the recipe

Lentils are a nutrient-rich legume widely grown in Asia. They're especially valuable for vegetarians and especially vegans, as they contain a lot of protein, as well as essential vitamins and minerals. If you've recently become a vegetarian, there's no reason to give up such a popular dish as cutlets—just try lentils instead of meat!

Step-by-step recipe

Step 1:

Lentil Cutlets - Step 1 Soak red lentils in water that covers them by about two fingers for 2 hours.
