Step-by-step instructions:
Step 1
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut each breast in half crosswise—this will create thinner fillets that cook evenly and stay juicy.
Step 2
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika—this simple yet effective spice blend is a favorite of many. Spread the seasonings evenly over the chicken with your hands and let sit for 5–10 minutes to infuse the flavor.
Step 3
Carefully place the prepared chicken breast on parchment paper in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 75°C. This air fryer cooking method is ideal not only for chicken but also for a variety of other dishes, from cutlets to pies.
Step 4
While the chicken is cooking, thinly slice the onion into half rings, dice the cucumber, and slice the tomato. You can add avocado. Wash and dry the herbs thoroughly.
Step 5
Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, grainy mustard, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the vegetables and toss gently. This simple yet distinctive dressing will highlight the freshness of the vegetables.
Step 6
Slice the cooked chicken breast in the air fryer and serve it on a plate with the salad. This is a complete meal—both filling and light.
Cooking tips:
Don't overcook the chicken breast - control the cooking time.
For even more juiciness, you can add 1 teaspoon of oil just before baking.
If you don't have an air fryer, bake the chicken breast in the oven at 200°C for 20–25 minutes or fry it in a grill pan.
It is better to prepare the salad just before serving so that the greens remain fresh and crisp.
