Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Prepare the air fryer: line the basket with baking paper and lightly grease the pan with vegetable oil - this will ensure easy removal of the finished pizza.
Step 2:
Place the flatbread on the parchment paper. This will be the base—our dough. Crack two eggs onto it and gently stir with a fork, being careful not to pierce the dough.
Step 3:
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If using onion, finely chop it and spread it evenly over the eggs along with the onion.
Step 4:
Halve the cherry tomatoes and arrange them on top of the filling. This will add freshness and juiciness to your dish.
Step 5:
Grate the cheese and sprinkle it generously over the entire surface. The cheese will melt and create a delicious crust.
Step 6:
Place the basket in the air fryer, set the temperature to 180°C, and cook for 10 minutes. Air fryer cooking is fast, convenient, and without excess fat.
Step 7:
Once the time is up, remove the pizza from the air fryer. Let it cool slightly and serve. It's the perfect homemade lunch!
Cooking tips
Use only fresh eggs - they hold the dough's shape better.
Don't overdo it with the cheese - it may run and ruin the texture of the dough.
For a crispy bottom, you can pre-dry the flatbread in an air fryer without filling for 1–2 minutes.
Add your favorite spices—oregano, basil, or garlic powder—to enhance the flavor of your homemade pizza.
All ingredients should be at room temperature - this will improve the evenness of the dough baking in the air fryer.
