Step 1:
Wash the potatoes and boil them in their skins in salted water.
Step 2:
Rinse the rice, pour water into a ladle, bring to a boil, add salt, pour in the rice and cook until done.

Finely chop the onion.
Step 4:
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 5:
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the onion until golden brown.

Add carrots to the pan, stir and fry for another 2 minutes.
