Pork shashlik in an air fryer

If you don't have a dacha or the weather is miserable, but you're craving some flavorful shashlik, pork shashlik in an air fryer is a great solution! No need to fiddle with coals or observe fire safety – this smart appliance does almost everything itself. Just choose good meat and marinate it well.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the meat into medium pieces and place in a deep bowl.
Step 2:
Add dry red wine, soy sauce, olive oil, barbecue seasoning, salt, pepper, sugar and mix vigorously with your hand.
Step 3:
Place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 4:
Thread the meat onto skewers or wooden skewers.
Step 5:
Place a pinch of alder sawdust on the bottom of the air fryer for aroma.
Step 6:
Place the kebabs on both grates in the air fryer, set the temperature to 190 degrees and the time to 40 minutes.
Step 7:
After 15 minutes, turn off the grill and turn the kebabs over, then continue cooking, increasing the temperature to 220 degrees.
Cooking tips
You can place a foil pan on the bottom of the air fryer to collect the fat so you don't have to clean it off the grill.
You can turn the kebabs every 10 minutes.
